Free plan

One footer badge keeps 100k events free

Free-plan sites place an EventDash badge in the footer. It is how more people find cookieless product analytics without us selling their attention. Standard and Professional skip it.

How Free-plan checks work

  1. 1

The first check is 14 days after the first visit

Unfinished and quiet sites are left alone. Build a badge below, then put the image in the footer.

  2. 2

We check about every 30 days

We request the homepage HTML and look for the badge image. SVG from this page is enough. Keep the link to EventDash intact.

  3. 3

A missing badge gets 14 days

You get an email. If it is still missing, dashboard data, API access, and exports lock. We keep collecting events. Access returns after the badge is in the HTML and a check passes.

Configuration

Logo, the words “Analytics by EventDash”, and an optional visitor count. The count is off until you enable it for that app, because the image is public.

Optional. A real domain can show last-30-day visitors after you turn the counter on in app settings. The preview number is a sample.

Embed code

Keep the badge in the HTML

Put it in a shared footer so it is on the pages people open. The check reads the homepage HTML. If the image only appears after a client script runs, we will not see it.

If you use a Content Security Policy, allow images from this host: img-src www.eventda.sh

Privacy

The embed does not collect a new profile of your visitors. We do not read the badge image request as analytics traffic.

  • referrerpolicy="no-referrer" on the image keeps the page URL off the image request.
  • crossorigin="anonymous" sends the image request without cookies.
  • loading="lazy" waits until the footer is near the screen.
